Perfect for broiler
These dishes are the perfect size and work great under the broiler. Very well made. I recommend getting the 10 ounce if you want to use for a side. Anything smaller is not big enough for a side dish.

I am so pleased with my purchase. If you're looking for a gratin dish this size, then you will not be disappointed with this one.
