Could be sturdier and have another notch or two, but ok, otherwise
This isn't a bad rack, it just needs to be a little bigger and sturdier so it could handle all my roasting needs. As it is, it is too small for a large turkey but would work nicely for chicken or small roast. I will have to keep searching for a better one so I can more easily roast a large turkey for Thanksgiving.
Not stainless steel
This rack is not made from stainless steel. It is chrome plated steel and small diameter material making it very flimsy. NOT recommended!
It is stainless steel and that's what I wanted.
My previous roasting rack was chrome plated and after years of use the chrome started coming off. I didn't want to expose my roasts to that so I went with stainless. This rack is a little flimsy and could stand one more notch closer to the center. And the rods could be heavier, too. But I'll use it and be happy about it.
