good and steady
Product is what it appears to be in picture. It is a side wall mount adjustable length heavy wrought-iron pot holder. It has a sturdy wire grill shelf and 5 S hooks. The hooks are heavy enough they don't pop off when you are taking a pan off of one. No problem putting up the rack either. I have added a few extra S hooks and have 7 various size pots/pans and a few lids hanging on now. We used a nice 12 inch solid board over the sheetrock wall for the length of the extension (about 2 inches from full extension of the frame.) We did this for leaway in where we drilled and for extra wall screw support on the uprights. Each upright has 2 holes for screws. We knew we would be loading our rack pretty heavily. It is working just fine and looks great too. We painted the support board the same color as the wall. Ergonomically wishing we had done a lot sooner. So convenient when cooking. No doubts that rack will last a lifetime.
Great Pot Rack!
We got this pot rack just a few days ago and we love it! There are so many from which to choose on Amazon, but after looking at them we chose this one, and we are glad. If you want a pot rack on your wall this is a great one. We placed ours about eleven inches from our eight-foot ceiling. The pots hang at a good level and the rack looks good there. All the hardware we needed (four long screws) was included to fasten to wall studs for strength. It is surprising how heavy several pans can be. The rack is adjustable in width so that if your studs should be a little "off" standard sixteen-inch centers, in the location you want to place it, it still works. We wanted a wide rack and this one is plenty wide. The only suggestion we would make, to the makers (and almost all of the other racks on Amazon) would be that they include more than six hooks. Or include info as to how to order more. We found the makers to be very easy to deal with on this matter, however.
