Emile Henry Square Baker, Olive



Replaced my original (which I broke)
I love this baking dish. The original did not have the external handles but otherwise, it is the same dish. Perfect size. Love all Emile Henry. They look good and clean easily! Can't beat that!!

Beautiful and classic
I decided to move up to better bake ware from aluminum and glass pans. After a rusting incident, I needed to replace my brownie pan and saw this beautiful ceramic bake ware. For any cook, there are a few things we look for in any kitchen cookware/ bake ware:
Cooking:
Although it is not nonstick, I didn't have any issues with making brownies and roasting a few chicken breasts with some spray oil.
Foods cooked evenly. Also, because it retains heat, I pulled out the brownies a little early than I usually do because I knew it would cook more as it sat cooling
Cleaning:
I use non-stick foil or parchment paper whenever I can. It helps foods from sticking as well as keeps cleaning down to a minimum
For times I didn't use the above, I just filled the pan with hot soapy water for 10 minutes and scrubbed with a non-scratch scrubbie
Weight:
This does have some weight to it. It is heavier than glass, so adding food to it also makes it even heavier. This...
