All-Clad LTD2 8-Quart Stock Pot

THE LTD "STOCK POT" IS REALLY AN 8 QUART SAUCE POT (An excellent all-round large pot)
I have two short-handled LTD pots like this; a four quart size and this eight quart size. My All-clad sauce pans are in stainless for everyday use on the stovetop where long handles are more convenient. In larger pots, what are the advantages of the All-Clad LTD line, and this size and shape of LTD "Stock Pot?"

1. THICK GAUGE: The LTD, being thicker gauge than the stainless line, absorbs and conducts heat faster and more evenly to better eliminate hot spots, especially when cooking or simmering larger quantities of food. 3. THE SAUCE POT SHAPE IS A SAUCE PAN SHAPE: In French cooking, the...

just get the best and be done
This is the best you can get and anything less will have some flaw. It won't wear out, so buy one while you are young and use it frequently!
