Ceramic coating comes off!
We purchased this in November 2011 and now, in July 2012, the ceramic non-stick coating is coming off in spots on the bottom of the roaster. We've only used it about six times and, up to now, loved it for its ease of clean up, size and up-right handles. We've contacted Berghoff to see what they will do about either a refund or replacement since it has a 30 year warranty and will edit review once we have an answer.
Junk
Arrived today. The roasting pan itself has a chunk taken out of the nonstick coating in the inside. The wires on the rack are not connected on one side and are out of alignment. The shipping box was in good condition and did not appear damaged. Extremely disappointed. I am generally pleased with my Amazon puchases but not this time. If I could give the product no stars I would.
One of my favorite pans
I love this pan and use it all the time for roasted veggies, casseroles, and meat. My husband and kids used to complain about the odious task of scrubbing the encrusted remains off my Pyrex casserole dishes, but with this pan, everything come right off. It is very important to make sure no one uses metal utensils, as they can scratch. I haven't had a problem with this pan, but I have had it happen with similar pans.
