Annoying warning buzzer
I like the size and volume of this timer, and the fact that it has an hour setting. Many timers just have minutes/seconds. But, this timer buzzes every 5 minutes it counts down for some strange reason. Set it for 30 minutes and it will buzz at 5 minutes, 10 minutes, etc.. The 5 minute buzz is short, so there is no mistaking it for the final loud repeated buzzing. Weird.
UPDATE: After 4 months I've grown to love this timer. Many recipes call for stirring every 5 minutes and this little gem buzzes every 5 minutes. Also, if I don't turn off the timer after final buzz it starts to count up in a positive direction. So if I'm outside and do not hear it, I will know exactly how much time elapsed since it went off. Today, I would give this timer a rating of 5.
Poor customer service
When this product arrived, the product packaging was open (as if it had been used before). I returned the item, asking for a refund, and never heard back from the vendor. I will never do business with this vendor again.
